Ikos Porto Petro
Mallorca

On Mallorca’s unspoiled southeast coast, where pine forests meet turquoise coves and the scent of sea salt lingers in the breeze, Ikos Porto Petro offers a rare blend of barefoot luxury and active escape. While the resort’s all-inclusive elegance – think gourmet dining, sleek suites, and private yacht excursions – has earned it a loyal following, it’s the padel courts tucked into its sun-drenched grounds that are quietly stealing the spotlight.
Ikos Porto Petro features three pristine outdoor courts, surrounded by native flora and just moments from the shoreline. It’s a setting that invites movement and mindfulness – where the rhythm of the game syncs with the rustle of palm leaves and the distant hum of waves.
Guests can book private coaching sessions tailored to all levels, from curious first-timers to competitive players looking to sharpen their skills. The resort’s concierge makes scheduling effortless, and equipment is readily available, so there’s no need to pack your own gear. Whether you’re rallying with your partner or joining a friendly match with fellow guests, the atmosphere is relaxed, inclusive, and unmistakably Mediterranean.

Beyond padel, Ikos Porto Petro offers a full suite of sporting options. Three tennis courts with panoramic sea views, a mini football pitch, and a watersports centre with paddleboarding, canoeing, and windsurfing ensure that every kind of adventurer is catered for. Wellness seekers can opt for sunrise yoga or aqua aerobics.
What sets Ikos apart is its seamless fusion of activity and indulgence. After a morning on the padel court, guests might retreat to the spa for a massage, sip cocktails by the infinity pool, or explore nearby fishing villages on complimentary e-bikes. It’s a rhythm of play and pause, perfectly suited to Mallorca’s laid-back charm.
For travellers seeking more than just sun and scenery, Ikos Porto Petro delivers a dynamic, design-forward experience where padel is more than a pastime – it’s part of the lifestyle.

Puente Romano
Marbella

Puente Romano Marbella defies simple definition. Is it a world-class beach resort that has its own tennis club or a world-class tennis club that has its own beach resort? In truth, it’s both – and that’s what makes it so extraordinary.
The Puente Romano Tennis Club was opened in 1979 by tennis icon Björn Borg. Since then, this exceptional club has played host to some of the sport’s most prestigious events – including official ATP, WTA, Fed Cup, and Davis Cup tournaments. Novak Djokovic, Boris Becker, John McEnroe and Andy Murray are just some of the legendary names to have played on the club’s sun-drenched clay courts.
Its facilities are of the highest quality and include eight floodlit clay courts, two plexipave courts, a gymnasium with the latest generation of ARTIS Technogym equipment, massage room and sauna – and of course, most important of all, four padel courts. Professional coaches are on-hand to help hone your game either through private or group lessons.

The iconic five-star beachfront hotel, originally built as luxury apartments, also opened in 1979, and has since been awarded Best Golf Resort at the International Hotel Awards, Spain’s Best Spa Resort at the World Spa Awards, and as Europe’s Leading Lifestyle Hotel in the World Travel Awards.
This whitewashed Andalusian village-style resort features sumptuous suites, botanical gardens, a Six Senses Spa and private villas, each with their own garden, pool and dedicated services.
Gastronomy is a cornerstone of the Puente Romano experience, with more than 20 restaurants offering a diverse and vibrant culinary experience. Many of the restaurants use fresh, seasonal, and organic vegetables and herbs grown in the resort’s very own market garden. Just about every kind of food is on the menu, from detox shots at Celicioso, Puente Romano’s dedicated gluten-free restaurant to New York-style pizzas at Pica Pica or the world-famous black cod miso at the equally world-famous Nobu.

Forte Village
Sardinia

If a family-friendly luxury holiday, with a spot of padel thrown in is what you’re looking for, then Italy’s picturesque island of Sardinia may be the perfect destination.
Nestled in 116 acres of stunning gardens on Sardinia’s southern coast, Forte Village is an award-winning resort that blends indulgence with environmental preservation and sustainable practices. Its philosophy centres on living in harmony with nature, supporting the local economy and culture, and delivering meaningful social and environmental benefits. Boasting a pristine beach, numerous pools and fine dining courtesy of Michelin-starred chefs, it was also crowned the World’s Leading Sports Resort 2024.
In addition to golf, football, basketball, cycling, diving, watersports and tennis the resort is now offering padel on the sports menu. To say it has embraced padel wholeheartedly would be an understatement. The resort’s three padel courts are home to the Padel Star Academy, where players can either take advantage of expert tuition or book courts independently.

Each year the resort also offers a number of unique training courses and personalised training sessions with great international champions. In 2025, padel legends Seba Nerone and Rodrigo Ovide – the latter, one of the sport’s most influential coaches – shared their expertise with guests, offering a rare opportunity to learn from the best.
After a good workout on court, unwind at the resort’s Acquaforte Thalasso & Spa. Indulge in a spot of thalassotherapy – a method of detoxing, rejuvenating and improving the body – in the resort’s six pure Sardinian seawater pools or try a physiotherapeutic massage inspired by the principles of philosophy and holistic therapy. We quite like the sound of the Four Hands Massage – “like a dance, two therapists massage the body, enveloping it with warm perfumed oils. An unforgettable experience that stimulates the circulation, tones muscles and instills the body with energy and lightness”.

Hotel Royal Evian
Lake Geneva

The 5-star Hôtel Royal sits on the Southern shore of Lake Geneva in Evian-les-Bains. The backdrop is spectacular, with the foothills of the Alps blending with the placid waters of the lake.
Designed from the outset to be the “most beautiful hotel in Europe” the Hôtel Royal was named in honor of England’s King Edward VII. With it’s “sophisticated yet easygoing atmosphere” the hotel has become a firm favourite over the years for visiting hollywood stars, world famous musicians and celebrated artists - some of whose work still line the halls today. Luxury at every turn is of course guaranteed. Putting the final stamp of approval on the hotel was Queen Elizabeth II, who had her own private apartment. As did Prince Aga Khan III.
The Art Nouveau-inspired architecture of visionary Jean-Albert Hébrard still looks elegant today, sitting within the resort’s 46-acre park adorned with English and Japanese-style water features and meticulously landscaped gardens. Best of all though, nestling in the grounds, is the Evian Resort Tennis & Padel Club.

The resort’s two padel courts are accessible to all hotel guests (via the Hôtel Royal Membership), who can choose from a range of lessons and training courses to help improve their game or just pop on down to reception where a member of the ‘Sport and Culture team’ will book them a court. Floodlights make the courts accessible until 10pm throughout the year.
After working up an appetite on court, you’ll find plenty of ways to refuel. The hotel boasts three exceptional restaurants, but for a truly memorable experience, head to the Michelin-starred Les Fresques, where Chef Patrice Vander crafts exquisite post-match culinary delights. And for the perfect wine pairing, don’t miss a visit with Monsieur Loïc Chavasse-Frette, the hotel’s expert sommelier.
